September 2, 200223 yr While trying to paint "Big Red" I've run into several quirks in the Baron's texture allocation. This image shows where the nose cone draws its texture from -- it's a spot far away, at the right edge of file 50. If I don't leave this spot white I get a red blotch covering the nose of the aircraft. I've limited it to the minimum size that will leave the nose white, through a lot of trial and error.Another thing, have you noticed the "antenna" on top of the trees? Evidently, it's the top of the two planes of this polygon showing. The trees are made using two crossing surfaces, to create the illusion of substance when viewed from any angle. Hans Petter
September 3, 200223 yr You have uncovered one of the best kept secrets of FU3 - theseare not antennas but rotors. And the trees are the US army Chinooks in disguise. I found out the hard way - I hit one of these trees on takeoff (I often hit trees on takeoff) and then got a bill for several million. More than I earn in a week.Keep it under your hat. Or THEY may find out.Best regards,Robert.
