September 13, 200223 yr Here are some holiday snaps from my recent travels to London, Seattle. These models are works in progress.
September 13, 200223 yr WOW Rob :-eekI suppose you want some nice, English trees for it now, do you?So, does the clock work :-hahSince you're doing these things so well now, how's about a good ol' country petrol (gas for non-Australians) stations? You know, cement rendered textured walls, usually off-white. A garage or two and some old rusty pumps (you know, the type with the large glass bottle on top?). Usually look like something out of a bad Mexican movie (yes folks, that typical 'Mexican' gas station was very popular here in the 50's).I'm going to do a bike. Actually a few. I am going to start with a Husky 360 ('coz I got one in the shed) and a Ducati 900SS. Should be done over the weekend (with the trees). Hava good one. :-outta Jon Point*************************([email protected])*************************
September 13, 200223 yr Does the clock work? Does it WORK?You are looking at the most precise timepiece in the world, accurate to the millisecond, twice a day.Look closely, you will see there is a tree already (bottom left). And its the actual tree at Parliament House (actually a group of about3 or 4 but grouped into one graphic). And I think that's Boadicea atbottom right - you ignorant Australians probably don't know who she is.But you are right, trees are essential. Bring 'em on!I probably won't be the one putting the package for London together. I was intending just to develop some of the objects. So here's Big Benand Parlt House. If someone gives me some data on them, I can redo them better, but for the moment, using JPG tourist brochure type pictures, that's all I can do. Big Ben has been done at two levels of detail, and tonight I'll probably get the main building done - so thatframe rates don't drop below my height in meters! :( I am not sure what to develop next for London. Over the weekend, I'll do some other odds and ends and just enjoy some flying, but next week, I would be happy to start the next major object. These are far moredetailed than the stock objects by the way.And as usual, I was flying the ultralight around Parliament House - checking it out, taking these shots for uploading, when you guessed it - wham clobber slam and I'm wearing stone gargoyles again. I really need your co-pilot friend Ken up here - someone to steer while I shoot.See you all after the weekend.Robert.
