Thanks, Ansgar!Yep, we got nearly two days' good rain on the coast but very little out west (not that one would expect much this time of year). The sun's out now (5:30PM, 11th Dec.) but it's still ~20 degrees so most of the water will stay where it is for a few days hopefully.You are correct about too much rain - in these conditions about 2 days is good, 4 days is a flood! This is normal for Oz though - 4 years of drought followed by 6 weeks of rain... Mud avalanches aren't THAT much of a worry here though, mostly just a lot of boggy ground which takes weeks to dry out. When I was young, we had three paddocks on the farm that you didn't go near between February and April - black soil :-(Jon Point*************************([email protected])*************************
