Into a hornets nest

Recommended Posts

Hi All,In FU2 (which I can't get to work), I read that it is possible to get shot down! Can this happen in FU3?I have been flying into military airspace, buzzing towers and refusing to answer 'on guard' requests but no-one seems to fly up from mil airbase and tell me off with a large firework. What do I have to do to start trouble? (my cessna against your hornet any day pal!!)Rob

I once posted a picture on this forum in which I added tracer fire out the front of the Fokker. No-one noticed. Oh well. No, you can't get shot down in FU3. I wasn't aware that the escorts shot at you in FU2, but I started flying FU3 before FU2 anyway.Rob D.

& Allan,Me too. I once spent 4 or 5 hours buzzing Travis AFB (or Traveless as my Uncle Lee used to call it) in FU2 with no challenge of any kind. I think that may have been one of those features that got left out for lack of time and/or money... never heard of anyone who managed to inspire an intercept.Allan,Daisy, Freddie, & especially Holly keep bugging me to meet puppy. :)

Hi Gang,Robs,There's a readme file in the US FU3 that has most of the things in it, It's only 84KB so if the UK version doesn't have that included it would be easy to sent anyone a copy of that if you'd like it.33 pages of info about tweaking and joystick keys, etc.If this is what your after send me a mail, I'll send it to you.Allan at cldawson@dmci.netGlidernut, Pregnant :-lol Jim,I like your gif, :-lolTo much time on my hands, Yes The Winter times for sure, About all I do is play. Are these the dog pictures you were missing?http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3b01c31eef7174.jpghttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e3b030323a20118.jpgHave Fun :-newburnAllan and Puppyhttp://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif

Allen: Actually, the dog that I remember in FU-3, was standing up on a porch, much like your cutouts, but he was graphically drawn with teeth bared. Maybe someone else remembers seeing him ? I will however have fun with these two until he shows up.Thanks > Jim

Yes, we have been hunting for a dog, standing on the porch of a cabin with his teeth bared. It's a Sim generated dog. My friend here in Tucson, and myself have both seen him in the Sim, but we have forgotten where ? It's become a Game with us. The search is on !Has anyone else out there seen him ?

Allan,"We only have one little dog in the real world, She's the only family that we have at home anymore, She's 11 years old, but still very active and adds alot to our life every day."No doubt. :) Daisy is a small terrier that resembles a lamb... a small lamb... and is neary 15. Some days she is a very lively, bouncy, puppy. Some days she looks up the steps as if she was looking at Mount Everest... but then some days so do I. Today she has been chasing Holly all over the place.Fred (AKA Freddie or Fredrica) is a shepherd, rot, who knows what, mix that is very loving and sedate... nowadaz anywho... she is about 5 and was a terror until the day we got Holly... all of a sudden she was all grown up.Holly is a border collie, husky, etc... type dog... and a bonifide nutcase. I don't think she will ever grow up. She would be the obvious choice to play with Puppy... and playing is about all Holly thinks about... playing & eating that is. ;-)
