February 17, 200323 yr Jon your GeeBee is great. :) I look forward to the 2nd paint job. I do have a question. How do I turn on the nav lights?http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e51043c6ad988bd.jpgNotice all 3 pics show the plane in a up pitch... Alt+Ctrl+P requires 2 hands...http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e51045e6bab3ab0.jpg... and I haven't managed to establish level flight in this monster yet! ;-)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e5104966ce88d6e.jpgOutstanding job by all concerned! :-sun1
February 17, 200323 yr Hi Tom,Very nice pictures, I best give this Plane a try, looks like a real beast. Thank,s to the whole team that added this one. Before flying a beast like this, if I wanted some snaps, and needed my hands on the yoke or at least one hand, I,d take a second beforehand to open my joykey cfg. and change a button like this. joy_10 Print_ScreenI,d guess that you already knew you could bind that but if not?Have Fun :-newburnAllan http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif
February 18, 200323 yr Folks,Thanks for the compliments :-)The nav lights are 'standard FU3 fare' - hit +<'> to turn them on or off, same as other aircraft.A simple trick for screenshots is to use the autopilot for a few seconds whilst you set up the shot! Whilst you're flying, just hit to turn the autopilot on. It won't do anything yet. Now, fly to your heart's content and just when it's looking good, hit + which locks your climbrate - if you are level, it keeps you there too.And yes, Allan's shortcut idea works OK too. I have a button on my game pad for it :-)Jon Point*************************([email protected])*************************
