Since it's nearly finished, I thought I'd post a few previews!Running-up on the strip with a load of skydivers.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60918.jpgOutta there!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60919.jpgFirst circle around the strip.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60920.jpgTwo more passes, 9500ft, clear skies. OK, ready to go? Light's on, get 'em out! Guys? Uh, looks like everyone jumped already :-hahhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60921.jpg:-wave******************* Jonathan Point *******************

Hi there,it doesn't happen often that I sit in front of my computer with the mouth open - but I just did! This is exactly "my" jumpship with which a have a history going back till 1993! And it looks just great - can't wait to fly it!Outstanding work on all of the Otters!!!Blue Skies, Steffen

Funny, I imagined you doing that! As you can see, it's pretty close. The cockpit needs finishing (in all models) and D-IVER needs the door fixed. I removed it due to problems with the operation - I did have it connected as a 'spoiler' so, when you open it, the plane drags to the left slightly. Having seen the application of right rudder when the door is rolled in a real DHC6, I can attest to that drag - it is quite substantial! Problem was, the door just didn't move properly (spoilers can only use linear or sliding axles, not rotating ones) and it just fell apart when you hit the key. It did eventually go up but the animation was BAD. I am still working on it.Anyway, I'm glad you like it as I basically did it for you to show my appreciation for your work with the challenges. During the development of the DHC6, I created a challenge to add more sounds and, although I am not really happy with the results yet, it gave me a better appreciation for what goes into creating a challenge ;):-wave ******************* Jonathan Point *******************
