June 4, 200224 yr At most benchmarks, 64MB shows better results, but when AA activated and made at high resolution, 128MB shows better results. So, which one should I get for FS2002? Price is not a factor because there is only $20 difference between two of them.Any sugestions/experiences?Thanks in advance.
June 4, 200224 yr Anti-Aliasing takes away from texture buffering memory on the card. Having the extra 64 megs generally means you have the space to keep the textures in local ram (video) vs having to swap them over the apg port from system ram (agp aperature area). This is the performance difference seen. Swapping is a performance hit.For $20, there really is no question. It would be silly to cheap out by that much for that much ;-)Ray
