October 13, 200421 yr The 'eye' (what was left of it, it had started to collapse) passed @ 15-25 miles s/w of Kissimmee.Strong winds @75mph constant, persisted for some 20 hrs, with heavy rain for 24-36 hrs. There was only minor damage to our motel, outside signage and the pool filtration plant got waterlogged and blew a fuse! We were lucky, we didn't lose power, so at least we were able to keep kids happy by watching TV :-)Made an 'interesting' start to our holiday, normal weather for Fla.returned with a vengeance though, temps in the 90's humidity at 80%,yep,I got sunburned!NASA have got a nice satellite photo here;http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/NaturalHa...p3?img_id=12464:-wavePete
