It doesn't! The XP2100 will perform to the same specs as a higher rated Pentium 4 chip but it won't run higher than 1.73 MHz unless overclocked. Look at the AMD website because there are more issues to consider than just raw MHz when comparing different speed chips. I would run this chip on an ASUS A7V333 mainboard.John-PaulToronto

You are right I did get it off General Nanosystems website. I live about 6 miles from thier store so that is where I pick up most of my computer stuff. I'll probably go ahead and get this sometime in the near future.

Will you upgrade again in 12 months?I have a 1.4 GHz and plan an upgrade a few months before FS2004I recently removed a ton of add ons and increased my FPS :-)
