DirectX 9

Featured Replies

I'm trying to run a webcam under Win 2000 and Skype says I need Win XP to make the camera work. Well, I found that it will suffice to install DirectX 9.0. However, the most recent version of DirectX might be a problem with older games as FU III. Does anyone know whether FU III will do fine with the latest version of DirectX?Hans Petter

Works fine for me, H-P ;-)I got over all my DX problems by ditching my vid and getting the ATI. It's been sweet-as ever since. Funny, I didn't even have the settings setup (i.e. no FSAA etc) and it still looked better that the '6200 :-eek .I also run Win2K but I don't use a web cam (or my daughter would have her own prime-time video channel by now - thank goodness).:-waveRegards,Jon PointGlide Distance: About 50% of the runway length when you hit a 20kt headgust on flare...

I always get the latest DX available and no problems .DirectX9c CaptRolo
