October 4, 200223 yr After having had to re-configure my PC it's now impossible for me to run Radar Contact without my PC cancelling with messages popping up saying:Scenery read error! Attempting to open anonexistent directory: d:programmermicrosoft gamesfs2002advwavcachefleetwooddt.Click OK to continue..However - the fleetwood-library is placed outside that library, directly under the wav-library, like it did before the re-config.So why does it want to involve the cache-library? Before the re-config. i only had a C:-drive, but as i have partioned it and now also have a D:-drive and both FS2K2 and Radar contact installed on that new drive (except for APLC32, which is on the C-drive, should any of this confuse Radar Contact? The drive has been created the correct way and i don't have problems with anything else. As long as i don't activate Radar Contact, FS2K2 behaves like always..CheersLars Kl
October 4, 200223 yr Thank's Scott. I found it short time ago under FAQ, but you were faster than me! :-) When i look at it, i remember it, but it had totally slipped my mind.Everything works fine now, so i hope it will last long before i have to re-config this machine again!Have a nice weekendCheersLars
October 5, 200223 yr Lars,Most people forget that when reintalling FS. Fortunately with v3 it's not an issue.I'll be working this weekend, so you have a good one for me. ;-)
October 5, 200223 yr I can imagine they do! It such a small detail with such a big effect!First dozens of boxes with errormessages about files not being there, which indeed are there, the Windows starts with it's messages and finally - THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH... You can imagine the thoughts which appears in ones mind, especially when you have partitioned your desk and placed FS2K2 and Radar Contact on the new drive.. You have all kind of other ideas to the problem, than the small line which have to be changed in the cfg-file... :-))Working in the weekend? - my "condolences" !! ;-)CheersLars
