Hi, Just thought I'd share a recent chat I had while flying the TEDY2 STAR from KORD to KPVD. It was in the wee hours of the AM and as I just entered the STAR I ran into a conversation with a Boston Center ATC member. We chatted for about 20 minutes, ATC wasn't too busy in fact, I found the controller extremely cordial during our conversation. As our chat was nearing the end I did ask the contoller why she was in such an interesting conversational mood, a mood not often encountered with ATC. Her response was that she was trying to improved her communications skills which she felt would not hurt her in her new position. So I asked her was she to be promoted to a new position? She replied "Yes". Thus I asked her when she will be promoted. She responded, "As soon as Version 3 is released".Regards

Hi Scott, Yes I was able to obtain her name. Due to the fact of her impending promotion she said she didn't mind passing it along because as her position changes she will no longer be communicating with the aircrews as in the past. She gave me her name as: Emily Madison.Cheers also
