Ground Traffic :-)

Featured Replies

John,Awhile back I was commenting on a thread about RCV3 not being able to see ground traffic and I said that FS ATC could not control ground traffic either. They oft-times taxi across the grass and sometimes take off beside the runway, both of which are fixable with AFCAD.When I received your E-mail to purchase RCV3 I thought about that and had to add this. Have you ever seen a MD90 run off the runway into the mud on a stormy night? It takes the US Army, 16 cranes, and an act of God to get it out! Thank God that is not required in FS2002. :-)Gary

Gary,No, but it takes standing on your head, twirling around, clicking your heels together three times, and saying "There's noone like Bill. There's noone like Bill" to even get Windows, much less FS2002, to run sometimes! ;-)

Boy! Have you got that right!:-bang I bow three times to my computer everyday before I log in. ::-halo You never know what WindowsXP Pro is going to do today! or any other day! Ms updates it about six times a month and I grimice wheneever they do until I see what is going to fail now.*:-* I just took the plunge with DirectX9 Beta and so far so good. :-kewl It seems stable after a week of use and FS2002 runs smoother a little. I am using it with a GSForce4 Ti4400.;)Gary
