Hey guys,Just Got RC3 yesterday and am looking forward to getting up and running !As far as I can tell, all requirements have been met..(Modules ect.)The advdisp window is up. When I push for example #1 for atis..I see "Stand By." But no voice !UNTIL I right click which esentially pauses the sim.. THEN I'll hear all ATC voices fine !I'm not too clear on the COM1-2 thing and I think this may be the trouble.. Can anyone help a low time instrument rated pilot out !? :)Thanks !Walt,

Walt,Sounds like a sound card problem. Make sue you read the card's manual about how to set the simultaneous wavs played to over 6. If nothing is playing until you pause FS, then that frees up the sound card resources and you hear RC ATIS. This is almost always the issue.

I Will look into that. But its seems a little different than a resource issue. RC is just not there until I stop FS2002 (Pushing Alt will do it also.)Its like its on a different page or something. Walt,

Walt,Remember, FS is continually using sound until you pause or switch tasks. What sound card are you using?

Scott is right on... I had the same problem on an older computer until I upgraded my sound card to a SB5.1Larry

Geez I hope its not the sound card..Its an on board Crystal Fusion. IF it IS the sound card, its the first program ever to cause a problem w my PC.Hmmm...Walt,
