pole flying!

Featured Replies

I recently installed the FS2002 Antarctic Scenery by Ted Kessel and James Keir. It's really good to have the extra continent... BUT...As I flew closer and closer to the pole, I noticed that my flight was becoming more and more distorted... So I slewed my DH6 so that it was right over the pole... and when I turned it off, I was literally flying sideways at what looked like mach3!!! LOL.Has anyone else seen this, or is it my installation of FS2002 ????It's definitely not a problem with Ted and James's scenery... I believe that its a FS2002 problem. Can anyone shed some light on this?Cheers,Simon.

Yeah, FS won't let you fly all the way to the poles. IIRC, the limit is like 89.5 degrees (of 90). I'm not sure how it acts (never tried) but this might be what you're seeing.
