December 10, 200223 yr What can I say?? After having nothing but the built in ATC for months at last I have got some "real" instructions to follow. No more climbing straight up to 31000' or dropping like a stone to 2500' and I've only scratched the surface so far. Anyone who is new to RC take my advice and don't try to do everything at once when you get this programme. I was tempted to fire it up first time with default ATC, FDC, FSMaintenance etc all running with it but in the end I decided to just go with FSMeteo and RC and work my way through the tutorials and I'm so glad I did. This is going to keep me busy for months on end, today I'm doing one of my own flights with default ATC going as described by Larry in the manual and gradually bring in my other add-ons as I get more experienced with all that RC has to offer. Then I've got the save feature to play with, fantastic, thanks guys, this is the best!!!!!RegardsJohn (Can't do the housework dear, got a plane to fly)Oh, and it was good to hear from Bill again! ;)
December 10, 200223 yr Hi John,Housework? Ah yes, I remember - pre beta testing I think I used to be expected to do some of that :-lolGlad RC's living up to expectations. All the best,Johnhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
December 10, 200223 yr John,You have no idea how nice this post is after this past week. After reading nothing but compaints and put downs, it's nice to read that someone actually appreciates the work that went into this program. I was beginning to think I should have been doing something else with my time for the past two years.Don't let your wife know you can have the CP take over so you can take out the garbage. ;-)Thank-you again for the lovely post.
December 11, 200223 yr What did I tell you, slam bam thank you man this product flies sky high in the best of its graphic computations and without it we are nothing, bolted to the skids on the bottom of the track jack. What I am trying to tell you man is it is out there back there, in there, where it was all the time and I am loving every bit of the racking smacking packing program that now I can fly with my head held high in the sky. What them dudes talking about, too tech for me, just give me that jockey stuff and flying all night into the sunset and sunrise. Give it to me straight dudes and dudest unloosing the belt and enjoy the scope of the slope and fly high.Yeah this product is good!(By no means does this mean that I can't fly either?)The BugmanJackson, Tennesseehttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
