December 16, 200223 yr It's come to my attention that when one of us says to "Save a dat and send them to us", most people won't have clue what that means. So here's a brief tutorial.A "dat" is the *.dat file that RC saves in RCV30saved. RC also saves the state of FS in the FS2002flightsmyflts or FS2000pilots or FS98pilots directory.Let's say you're running FS2002 and after starting and running RC:Click "Save Flight" from the RC interface.A dialogue opens to name the file. Let's say you name it something like "Flight to the Hamptons".RC saves:RCV30savedFlight to the Hamptons.dat.FS2002flightsmyfltsFlight to the Hamptons.flt.FS2002flightsmyfltsFlight to the Hamptons.wx.Those are the files we're talking about. You should also send the plan file (*.pln) so we can fly it.When you encounter a problem, you need to fly it again and save before the problem happens. So that's how you can help a lot with finding the problem you are having in your flight. It's also how you can save the state of RC and FS if you want to quit and pick it up later. Just load the flight into RC before clicking "Start RC" and it loads the FS state and RC state and off you go. This is in the manual.
