How to return from FlightPlan menu ?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I am having trouble to return to the main menu once I pressed "ctrl-shift-p" to display the flight plan. In fact, I am totally screwed then, because there is no way to return to any other menu. The documentation states that pressing "0" returns to the AdvDisplay main screen, but it doesn't work for me. I tried other keys (8-prev, 9-next) too, but no luck either ... Does anyone else experience the same problem ?Thanks,Dirk

Hi Dirk,Works fine here (but I've just quickly tested it on the ground only).A couple of questions.1. Check under options - Customize RC keys. Is the option 'menu page cancel' assigned to keystroke 0?2. Does pressing 0 in other menus return you to the main menu page? Try pressing 9 a few times then 0.3. Is this a problem right from the start of your RC flight? Try csp then 0 before you do anything else and see what happens. If this does work let us know which phase of the flight you were in when it didn't.As always be patient. RC sometimes takes a while to respond to keyboard input. Don't keep pressing the key ;-)Hopefully this will help to pin down the problem. All the best,John

Hi John,>2. Does pressing 0 in other menus return you to the main >menu page? Try pressing 9 a few times then 0. It did not. And then suddenly it struck me, I remembered that I assigned '0' in FSUIPC to set the standard altimeter (I ususally use voice recognition to set it in flight, so I completely forgot about it). Stupid USER ERROR .... ;)Thanks a lot for getting me on the right track,Dirk

Hi Dirk,Glad you are up and running again,All the best,John
