Just wondering if the developers are any closer to a fix for slow controller speak for users of WindowsME? Radar Contact is an excellent program - just a pity it is spoilt a little by the slow, pausing speech. I am not keen on buying a new O/S (WindowsXP) just to get RCV3 to work perfectly. I am running AMD1900 processor with Soundblaster Live 1024 soundcard and latest drivers.Airdog

See if you have task scheduler running. If so, you can change the priority of RC to high or Real Time.Otherwise, you can use something like Process Viewer 2000 ( http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_down...leidx,1,00.asp), which I use. It's free and you can also set the priority of programs with it.

For sure a great solution, though i have to use HIGH. It's equally as fast, but with realtime, Radar Contact freezes up.
