January 2, 200323 yr RC3 and S-Combo associated with the newly released VMAX 'Ready for Pushback' both use the AdvDisp feature. It doesn't look like there is a way for both to share AdvDisp. The solution so far has been to print a hard copy of the perfomance speeds S-Combo uses thus allowing RC3 unchallenged use. I'm looking for a different solution that would allow both to function within AdvDisp, or any other ideas ?
January 3, 200323 yr AdvDisp is a text displayer that was written by Peter Dowson. It's purpose is to run inside Microsoft Flight Simulator (98, 2000 or 2002) capturing text output from "Adventures", RC3, etc, and optionally ATIS. In other words, AdvDisp is a "text capturer". It is independent of RC3, FDC, VMAX 'Ready for Pushback'. If 2 (or more) FS 3rd party programs are writing text to FS then overlap will occur. I'm not certain how the priority from FS is assigned. This might be a Pete Dowson question to be answered.Take care,Davidhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
