January 8, 200323 yr Hi friends,i'm so excited!!!!!!!Every day i take a new flight with RCv3, what a prog :-cool; i run FS2k2 on a server and RCv3+FSMeteo+NAV3+ShowText(AdvDisplay)on the client via WideFSI'm just a bit lazy in reading manuals (i'm italian and self english teacher :-( ). So i ask:1) when planning a flight in FSNav v4.51 do i must insert last checkpoint as close as possible to arrival airport as i was use to do in RCv2?2) how should i plan and fly a STAR? I know there is an option for Flex. Departure Procedure under Controller Info but can see anything concerning standard arrival...Should i be able to fly/RCv3 will be aware of a STAR until the localizer-ILS? Or a STAR doesn't allow a localizer?Forgive but i'm not so experienced...Thanks in advance for helpingcheersLuigi ;-)

You should still put a final checkpoint in somewhere close just as procedure.>2) how should i plan and fly a STAR? I know there is an >option for Flex. Or a STAR doesn't allow a localizer?RC doesn't know about STAR's, but you can make a plan with a common entry point for any runway, or make several plans for the direction you will come from as you wish. When you are handed to Approach, request an IAP for the ILS, or any approach, to whatever runway you want. You then fly the plate as published until you are handed to Tower.
