Surprise success with RCV3 on networked computers

Featured Replies

Hello, I've just installed RCV3 on my networked 200MHz Pentium Pro computer and was very pleasantly surprised how much more natural the RC sounds were. Very different than when RCV3 was on my 2.53 GHz machine. Both FS2002 and RCV3 are set up to run in default mode, ie, no changes to the default startup properties on either of these two networked machines. It seems that the 2.53GHz machine processed the sound files so quickly that the spaces between utterances became much more evident than when RCV3 was run on the 200MHz machine. Now, finally, I can enjoy the ATC directives in an almost natural human voice form. Like I said a very pleasant surprise for I didn't expect this outcome. Setting up WideScreen was a real snap and, as a result, FS2002, RCV3 and ActiveSky worked in perfect harmony. Just thought I'd mention the difference in voice sounds with this combo of this equipment on an IPX/SPX network.Regards
