co- pilot

Featured Replies

Hello folks out there im wondering if can use the co-pilot in PIC or Dreamfleet, i have had no luck in this, somwhere i heard you cannot.and if that is true does that mean that i half to moniter the plane all the way and the co-pilot handles just the comm.in other words if i tell the co-pilot that it is your plane, and the co-pilot say go it, thr co-pilot does not really have it.thanks..........Camtech

If you're referring to the DF737, it's true that you cannot persuade the FO to hand-fly the plane. This is because the DF737 has its own, much more sophisticated auto-flight system. RC3 can only fly planes that use the FS2002 native autopilot. What you should do is recognize what a realistic simulation the DF737 is and program (or load) the route into the FMC and use FNAV/VNAV. But you have to be prepared for any deviations from the plan the ATC throws at you and take appropriate actions.I'm sure the same goes for PIC, but I don't have that.

Yes, PIC is the same, the CP can't fly it.I suggest turning v's for traffic to 0 unless you are going to sit there an monitor the flight.
