how does RC3 handle oceanic flights? Does it use HF radio with Gander and Shannon like in real life? I sure hope it automatically cuts down on AI traffic.

Overall, very very well. I've flown the Atlantic & Pacific with a good deal of random, real HF comms. The only thing that is slightly off is the controller instructing you to contact Gander or Shanwick ACC on VHF: "XXX contact Gander Oceanic 132.1" instead of HF. Considerably better than PF2000.

The main reason RC does that is because there's no way to dial in 327.55 or any HF freqeuncy. If the radios could do it, RC would also. ;-)
