Can FSAssist take me to unfamiliar runways ?

Featured Replies

I am pretty much satisfied with RCv3 except one thing that it can not request progressive taxi instructions and show me the way by like the red line. I am now interested in LAGO's FSAssist which says it's push back works fine. But how fine? Can FSAssist replace the FS2002's default push back ?

Absolutely. The FS PB is junk. The FSAssist PB works great, you are in control, it likes you, and you even get a friendly ground chief who waves to you. Plus you can DL others, or make your own wav files to use with it.It's well worth it.(addt'l)I forgot to add, since it's the topic and not in your message. I do not think FSAssist can direct you to the runway.

There is only one drawback to the FSAssit PB: Once you start it, you cannot stop it before it has finished. Thus, if you start a PB and suddenly see an AI aircraft approaching as you move back, there is nothing you can do but let the AI aircraft... pass through your own aircraft! Not very... realistic! :-)And you are correct, FSAssist does not provide "progressive taxi", only default FS ATC can do that.Stamatis
