>>Nvidia has released the official 29.42exe drivers a few >minutes ago for Win9x. >>www.nvidia.com >>Hopefully this has the refresh rate fix that the release >over at GURU.com didnt have. >>Give em a try!!! after all they are free. >>http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...9d503cc53ab.jpgRefresh rate fix would only be for the problematic win2K/winXP as MS for unkown reasons removed the "Optimal" refrsh rate setting that allows your monitor to work at its peak under win9x.Are you saying you have a refresh rate problem with your win9x setup?Paul

>blurry textures: thep rocess by which FS2002 takes the mesh >below and updates it slowly but surely over a given time. >>Tim That wont/cant be addressed by the Video card or its drivers as it is simply a matter for the CPU and memory sub system. You may want to upgrade after all the new harware releases this fall to address that. You can however control the level of detail (LOD) of the Mipmaping and enable anistropic filtering for a clearer/sharper mipmapped and AA image at the video card level as well as a bit of help from the FS2k2.cfg file.If you want faster texture updates try lowering your mesh detail settings a bit as well as turning down other power hungry settings such as ATC, detail texures, ground shadows etc..Paul

Paul,I went through all of your stuff and my blurry textures did load quicker. I'm thinking the scenery SDK might give us insight as to how we can have MSF02 load textures FIRST than autogen second.tim
