slow redraw and cant try "high"

I have been trying to get rcv3 to work properly on my system and have found that sometimes when changing views in an aircraft the "new" screen takes a while (say 5 secs) to redraw while using rcv3 but is instantaneous when not using rcv3.Also i have tried using the "high" switch on the command line but although the hour glass displays for a short while ,the program does not open (it does work OK in realtime and low)I feel there must be something amiss somewhere!I have reinstalled Win XP and FS2002 twice to try to get rid of the problem but it stays the same.System P4 2.0ram 512Sb16 pciAny suggestions would be appreciated or even if someone else has the same problems..let me know, so I am not alone!John A
