February 21, 200323 yr After creating a flight plan in FANAV from KORD to KDFW and then importing it into FS2K and Radar Contact, I would then open the flight plan in RCV3 like I've than many times and go to the controllers tab. When I get there, there is no arrival information for KDFW...I've flown to KDFW many times before and it worked just fine. The plan was always available for both FS2002 and Radar contact, but this time its not.I then recreated the plan again but still nothing..I ran FSnav database but still no luck with having KDFW arrival information.Does anyone know how I can fix this? ThanksTroy
February 21, 200323 yr Troy,The airport/runway info isn't taken from FSNav. It's taken from the a.txt, RCFrequ.csv and r.txt files in the RCv30 directory. So look in:a.txt for an entry for KDFWr.txt for all the runway entries for KDFWRCFrequ.csv (use a text editor) for the frequencies for KDFW.It sounds as if one of these might be missing info.Secondly, has anything changed since the last time you went into Dallas? Finally, are you absolutely certain you selected the airport and not a runway or an AFCAD overaly as the destination?
February 21, 200323 yr Scott, thanks for the response...a.txt for an entry for KDFWr.txt for all the runway entries for KDFWRCFrequ.csv (use a text editor) for the frequencies for KDFW.I did check two of the above except the last..Will have to do that tonight. After I sent the message I went back and recreated the flight plane again.I typed in KORD for departure and KDFW for arrivals and when I I was prompted to save the file to radar Contact, guess what I saw? I saw that the file was being saved as 3dfw..one of my overlays. The culprit had been discovered..Well I deleted that from the AFCAD but I haven't had time to rebuild my FSNAV database..Will have to see what happens later tonight..Thanks alot:-) troy
