Featured Replies

HI EVRY ONE INEED HLPE, AS I AM NEW USER FOR RC3 THE PROGRAM IS MAGNIFICENT, BUT I HAVE PROBLEM WITH VECTORING AFTER TAKE OFF. I DO NOT GET ATC VECTORS TO MY FIRST WAYPOINT OR SECOND. I AM USING FSNAV SYS I GO THROW THE MANUAL STEP BY STEP BUT WHEN I TAKE OFF NO VECTORS, SHOULD I CHECK THE FLEX DP ON THE OPTION SCREEN OR NOT. I TRY THE TUTORIAL FLY IT WORKS PERFECTS , I LOAD OLD FLY PLAN USED BY MSF2002 FORM KSAN TO KLAX IT WORK VERY GOOD BUT ANY FLIGHT PLAN FROM FSNAV THERE NO VECTORS. ON THE GROUND I GET THE WEATHER BRIEF, CLEARANCE BRIEF TAKE OFF BRIEF HE GIVE ME YOUR FLIGHT IS FILED MAYBE I MISS SOMETHING DURING MY FLIGHT PLAN. PLEASE I NEED HELP THANK YOU AHMED KHAMIS

it might be because you have capslock on. capslock prevents you getting any vectors. ;-)if you have flex-dp checked you won't get vectors until you're a certain distance from the airport, it allows you to fly SID's.

The Dept controller not issuing vectors is caused by one of several things:1). Your 1st checkpoint is 30m or less from the dept field, which constitutes a DP2). You've checked FlexDP, which forces a DP3). NOTAMs checkedI suspect your first checkpoint outside KSAN is inside 30m. If in your clearance you're hearing "...via published DPs, then as filed..." or the NOTAM Advisory, Dept won't issue vectors. You don't want him to in those cases.
