I want to make it so the spot plane defaults to 150 ft distance from some planes because on some it is just way too close. How do I do this?

Click on 'Views', then click on 'View Options'. In 'View Options' you can select your desired distance.

I nkow but that doesnt stay for next time i open flight sim

download "tcdfsview" it lets you modify the model so the view distance is out as far as you want. It also changes the view you see in the initial aircraft select menu.

Hehe yeah i noticed that tcdfsview wasn't in feet after i tried 150 :)

:-lol and then multiply by 5 - 750 meters away! The divide by 5 is a FS thing. I don't know why MS can't make anything simple.
