July 8, 200322 yr Most of the chatter pilots have been converted to clean sets for use as your pilot and/or co-pilot voices. This is to add more options if you'd like.Go to the Flight Deck's RCv3 page (link below).
July 8, 200322 yr Dohhh, sorry but I don't know which are the new files to download. Can you explain it to a novice? I downloaded and installed most of the files listed last week.
July 8, 200322 yr Dave,In Windows Explorer, navigate to your RCv30Winwood folder. The folders with 0-je etc. are the current co-pilots you have installed (if any). The ones I have installed are:winwood0-jewinwood0-jjwinwood0-mtwinwood0-naAll the rest on Scott's list under optional co-pilots are new.
July 8, 200322 yr Dave,Everything on my site listed as "Optional" are just that - oprional. They add more realism with more voices, but aren't required to run RC.The 11 and 12 controllers are not required, but since the wav updates, which ARE requred, include fixes or additional files for 11 and 12, you should get them.If you're happy with the current pilot and co-pilot voices, you don't need any of the optional pilot voices. If you want other voices for one or other, then you can DL any or all extra pilot/co-pilot sets and use one of them as your pilot or co-pilot.The additional chatter pilot voices are for areas where there is no recorded chatter, or you don't use recorded chatter, and you want something in the background to populate your world (besides the FSATC if you listen to it on Com 2).Instructions are on the site.
