October 7, 200322 yr This is still asked a lot, so...If you need to send JD (or anyone) a dat, here's the method.Fly one of the plans you know will have the problem, then save a dat ("Save Flight" on the main RC screen). You can/should pause FS first. Zip that up along with the .flt and .wx files (they will be the same name as what you saved the dat as) from the My DocumentsFlight Simulator Files (FS9), or FS2002flightsmyflts (FS2002) directory. The dat is under RCV3xsaved. Send the zip to JD.It is immensely helpful if you at least switch to a default FS aircraft before saving if you are flying FS9.Make sure you tell JD which FS you are flying when you send him the zip. Also, and I know this sounds obvious but people forget, tell JD the exact problem and where to expect it and where the dat starts (what to expect when the flight is flown from where the dat starts). You may need to include the FS plan as well.
