FS9 PMDG RCv3.1 Program Crash

Featured Replies

On a number of occasions, sitting at the gate with all the preparations complete (FMC programmed, Altitudes, headings...etc all set) I load Rcv3.1 in readiness to get Atis and clearance and all of a sudden FS9 has closed down completely. RC is still loaded and cannot be reset until FS9 is restarted (rc loaded in normal mode). As you can imagine that this gets to be very frustrating! Has this happened to anyone else?TIA

TIA, I can't say that it has happened to me, I have been flying high for a while, I did have a problem at first when I converted over but it was due to me trying to use fs2002 flight plans in the RC3.1. What I was doing wrong is on the rc screen where you load flight plan I was going to the right directory, it still looked for fS2002 so I had to redirect the tree to find my FS9 flight plans. And then all was well. I as getting all kind of weird things, buildings in the air stuff like that. But since I redirected it works great. I don't know if that helps? I can't get it to work in FS2002 now, had to update my video driver for fs9 and now it crashes my fs2002 when I turn on RC3.1, go figure? The BugmanJackson, Tennesseehttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

Thanks, I am sure that I'm not using FS2002 flight plans as I've never used 2002.I've been trying to upgrade my video drivers too and had all sorts of fun and games, the old adage of if isn't broke don't fix it seems to apply to me...hehehehe good luck.
