June 16, 200223 yr I downloaded a very nice panel (he37-200pnl.zip) from the FS2002 panel library and it has a radio stack integrated into it. The problem is that it only shows the active settings for nav1 and nav2 and I can't change the values. Maybe the panel was designed for FS2000 which did not have active and inactive nav settings. Is there anything I can change (for example in the panel.cfg file) to make the settings editable? Thanks.
June 16, 200223 yr Do the NAV radios have a standby feature? If not, go to your aircraft.cfg and look for Radios.Make sure it looks like this:{Radios}// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1=1Com.1=*, *Com.2=*, *Nav.1=1, 0, *Nav.2=1, 0, *Adf.1=*Transponder.1=*Marker.1=*OR, if they do have a standby frequency:{Radios}// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1=1Com.1=*, *Com.2=*, *Nav.1=1, 1, *Nav.2=1, 1, *Adf.1=*Transponder.1=*Marker.1=** means whatever the original settings were. Just change the {}s to square brackets if you're going to use these in your aircraft.cfg, and to change the asterisks to the original settings of the aircraft's radios (if you haven't been having problems with those).Keep in mind that since the panel was added on, it did not modify the aircraft.cfg, so the original radio settings will stay the same.
