run-time error 713

Featured Replies

Hello, I've just purchased RCv4 and after a seemingly successful install (the main screen for Radar Contact appears and all buttons function) I cannot load a flight plan. After selecting a saved flight plan from the directory I keep getting a message: run-time error 713 Class not registered You need the following to be installed on your machine MSSTDFMT.DLLI've been waiting for this add-on for so longPlease helpDuggy

Duggy, I'm sorry you are having problems with Radar Contact. Please run Windows Explorer and navigate to your Windowssystem32 folder. Do a search for MSSTDFMT.DLL. If you find it do the following:Open a DOS box (Start|All ProgramsAccessoriesCommand Prompt)At the prompt type the following:Cd windowssystem32 (press the enter key)The prompt will change to this:C:WINDOWSsystem32>Type the following:regsvr32 msstdfmt.dll (press the enter key)Please note any error messages. The problem is that file msstdfmt.dll is not registered with Windows. The above commands I gave you registered it.Radar Contact should run as advertised now. If you can not find it go here http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/suppo...me=MSSTDFMT.DLLand download/install the library files. Once that is done redo the steps I outline above.
