June 27, 200718 yr I've noticed a number of posts on this. Although it's only vaguely connected can I take a moment to mourn the passing of AdvDisp from the FSX world. It was a great prog - the menu could be manipulated to fit perfectly into any aircraft panel. Its successor is not nearly so accommodating and, I think, indirectly, leads to a prob , at least for me, and maybe for others who use a multi mon. set up.I undock all the panels of my aircraft to reside on a number of monitors. Initially, when I used RC in FSX, I noticed that the prog was not always responding to keystrokes. Eventually - I'm slow - I discovered that in order for the keystrokes to work effectively, the main monitor must have focus. If I undertake an action on a panel on a secondary monitor, focus is immediately transferred to that monitor and away from the main. In order to get RC keystrokes to work, focus needs to be returned to the main. In some circumstances, particularly early in flight and during the descent phase, this can easily be overlooked. This was never a prob in FS9 with Adv Disp. Wonder if anyone else has had this experience and/or knows of a way around it.Bud
