June 18, 200223 yr I hardly ever post on forums, but I have to give credit to NVidia for their 29.42 drivers.I have a "slow" system and these drivers did wonders for it. (900 AMD- PCChips board- onboard sound- Gforce 2 MX 32-384 133 memory). Not that I can run all sliders up, but everything runs smother and clearer than with any other drivers. I also installed the WDM drivers at the same time. Each system is different so I can
June 18, 200223 yr Hi,What are the WDM Drivers and where does one get them. I have installedthe 29.42 drivers but I am getting discolouration on the cockpitat present. ThanksJohn
June 18, 200223 yr I tried these drivers on my GF3-200 and ended up taking them off and going back to the 22.80 drivers. For some reason on my card all the newer drivers I have tried tend to "muddy" or blur the scenery off in the far distance.I get faster FPS but the scenery doesn't show as much detail. The 22.80 drivers give me sharp scenery detail much further out from my viewing point and the lost of detail off in the far distance looks more natural.
June 18, 200223 yr I also tried the them and removed as I could not gey any aniso. I have been very happy with the 28.32's. Good luckInteresting how the drivers can affect different systems.BobG
June 18, 200223 yr I installed them, and used RivaTuner to enable aniso.... Very difficult to judge a visual difference, if any, but the sim seems slightly smoother. I had upgraded (using a GE2/Ti) from the 21.83 drivers...-John
