Kai Tak

Does anyone know how to make that airport show up in FS2002? Thanks Matt

Do you mean to be able to select it from the aircraft list? That is impossible as M$ left it out- "As Real as it Gets" you know. However, the airport is still there so you can go and land. I fly from the new Intl airport to Kai Tak and land. Also, there is a free add-on for kai tak that is simply amazing. It is in Flightsim.com but it's for FS2000. I've heard it workds fine with 2k2 though.http://turnhead.com/dot/alex/banner-retro-cool.gif

I have made an afd-file to make old Kai Tak show in the "go to airport" menu. I have called it VHXX, and also added some gates with AFCAD to make it alive again with AI Traffic. If you want to do that, remember to add the airport to the airports.txt file and make flightplans for it!If anybody wants to use this file, rename the attachment to .bgl and put it in scenedb/afdfilesregards

You should simply install Thomas Kwong's scenery for Kai Tak. It's for FS2000, but works just fine in FS2002. What's more, he's working on an update. You'll find his Version 3 at Avsim ... if you want the previous, more frame-rate friendly Version 2, go to my FS2000 site.
