Floats on a DC-3

Featured Replies

There was one made for FS98, there is one for FU3 also. In real life there was one XC-47C, but it was a turkey so USAA never ordered #2. It's floats ended up in Greenville Maine, on this one..which is close to being taken out of service.

I couldn't find it Mark. :(If you would be so kind as to send it to me I would be very grateful. My ultimate goal is to get some floats on this Jan Visser FS2000 version that you see in my signature pic.I like flying the Alaska bush but I also love my DC-3. Hope to achieve the best of both.Cheers!Heather

You'll have to give me your email address, of course; should you not want to post it here, then email it to me at [email protected]'ve converted this old lass for FS2002 for you ... she's the very plane Lizardo mentions. Cuda is a fictional livery ... so I guess she'll end up in Heather's Charter Service before long! Hardly compares with Jan Visser's work, but hey, it floats (now) and it's all about panels and sounds anyway, isn't it?http://www.swiremariners.com/cuda.jpgMark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

The converted one, at Folsom's, is actually a DC3-G202A model, made in 1943, serial # 11761. :-)
