just completed my 1st flight with RC. the flight KSAN-KFSO LDS767-300PEBLE3.SXC VTU RZS J501 BSR BSR2/0103This short flight gave me the chance to practice with RC and to find out how I would get on flying the 76 and keeping up with and out of trouble with ATC.The DP was pretty straight foreword with alts and fly headings from ATC then @ or after 18k a track too my filed plan then own navs.was held for traffic at 23k (nice touch) a interesting approach! being given a decent early to 24k then pd (pilots discretion) for 17k easy enough, then a little test be at 11k 250knts or less in under 30mls was needed by ATC and some quick work with then DS (decent speeds)got me through without getting the paxs upset or ATC giving me the old ear bash!!!I then was vectored for a 28L approach, I was given the choice of what sort and choose the ILS. (real world they give you this)and told to be down to 3500' to establish for the full ILS. RC gave me time to do this and a track to capture was flown,Hand over to Tower gave the winds then soon after and my landing clearance.a nice ride down the glide and with only a 3 knt x wind saw me bleed off my speed just right on crossing the TH and onto the runway with just small tyre puffs. ok big head!!! I was brought back to ground by a rebuke for leaving tower frq early (dam) blame the F/O.Well a real enjoyable flight that was given reality by RC. and if I can do it most then can. if your thinking about buying it do so, you will get many hours of learning and enjoyment from RC.and if you ever fancied online flying then once up to speed using RC that would be a piece of cake.
