Reinstalling RCV4.3. Do I need to re-register?

I have built a new system and am using VISTA. #1: Is VISTA a problem?#2: When i go to put in my regestration key, it pauses, closes and when I click the shortcut again, it wants me to register again.I am following the directions in the 4.3 NOTES.txt file. I am not using FS9. I did a search and found nothing.Where am i messing this up?
