  1. Just to clarify a little with some correct info. The iFly 747 has 3 engine variants. Pratt&Whitney PW-4056, General Electric CF6-80C2-B1F, Rolls Royce  RR-RB211-524G. It also has many panel options for Autopilot, PFD, ND, EICAS, IRS, Ect. You can choose between CRT and LCD screen types just to name a few.

With the Flight1 30 day no questions asked return police why not see for yourself and give it a go.

    Cheers,

    Glen

  2. Sorry for the stupid/ignorant question, but for someone that does not have any prior versin, are these separated per platform? Meaning, buying the addon at full price, do you get *either* the FSX version or the Prepar3d version! Or like some other devs you get both version with your purchase?

    Thanks.

     Hi Walter,

They are separate purchases, but if you want to get it for both platforms (FSX&P3Dv2) you can buy the FSX version then use the upgrade coupon and get the P3D version.

  3. Your welcome :)

I used the black panel textures because changing the ID number on the night texture was rather tricky without layered templates, and black was the easiest to work with. When the paint kit comes out it should be easier to change IDs on other panels.

So use the black panel textures included for now if you want the panel numbers to match the aircraft's number.

    Cheers

    TJ

Thanks TJ, no problem at all.

    Hello TJ,

Could you tell me where we can find your repaints. Also thanks  a lot for doing my requested repaint. Best regards.

  4. My apologies, you are correct. It's missing 'flood' lighting.

I wanted to edit my original post but I guess it's past the time limit allowed by AVSIM. I managed to get a word from the devs over at iFly regarding my throttle issue and they said it's an irregularity with the simulator architecture itself and I've been advised to use FSUIPC to map all my controls. As a result, I spent some time, remapped all my joystick buttons and axes through FSUIPC which eradicated that problem at least.

The iFly 747 has flood lighting. If you are running in DX10 with the Fixer, you need to run the fixer to let it install the effects for the aircraft.

  5. Use them and wouldn't be without them. As far as which ones to use, they ALL work well with the 777. It really comes down to what looks best to you. It's kind of like asking what Beer taste better.

Using Texture Direct the textures load so quick it easy to test different sets.
