+1 The DCS A-10C Is the most incredible immersive flight sim I've ever experienced,And they're not done.I'm just happy that they keep making planes of ground-breaking quality. The only thing that tempts my wallet these days is a step jump in fidelity: like the A2A Spit, or the PMDG 737NG. But even these, awesome achievements they may be, don't match the DCS A-10c, either in graphics or system modelling, I guess because of the limitations in FSX. Transcending the limitations of FSX is where the gold is; like the recently released Shade for example. Cheers, Noel. -
A2A are very passionate about WWII Aircraft,If they didn't have a genuine love for these planes they wouldn't be half as good.I believe this is why they created the Accu-sim module to better model real systems in these aircraft that FSX simply cannot do. .

I've always thought default FSX was "Bleached Out" and void of color,I don't Run/Own REX so this is a very nice economical choice for me,Thanks for keeping the price in the "Budget Savvy" range!!

Hello Jose,I believe this is a well known problem with the J41,So you are not alone.I had a similar problem [prizm light effect] and was able to cure it by reducing my Bufferpools in the FSX cfg. file.Hope this helps.Cheers!

FS Break,A Biweekly, Flight Sim related podcast recently had Chester Kennedy of Lockheed Martin on,Talking about their Prepar3D program. It's very enlightening what Lockheed have claimed to have done with ESP and how well FSX will run on Prepar3D. It's worth a listen,The interview is the first portion of the show. You can Download/Listen here..............http://www.fsbreak.n...s-prepar3d.html

As I'm flying my Turbine Duke in The Great Pacific NorthWest Tonight in my Virtual World,I'm going to remind my wife all the money I'm saving her!!!! lolThe phase inspections and general maintenance tend to be more time consuming and therefore cost more to do. You quickly approach $1,000/hr when you move up to the King Air 90 and if it's a 200 it will be over $1,000/hr. You can operate the Royal Turbine for very close the same costs as a TBM700/850. While they are a fair comparison of seating, speed, fuel burn, type of trip (mission profile), the person thinking of spending 3 mil on a TBM usually won't be in the market for a modified piston to turboprop twin and vice versa a person considering buying the 25-35 year old Duke and modifying it with the Turbine upgrade is in an entire different market. -
Bravissimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
