  1. Hey guys! Everything works fine when it comes to NGX, beside the fact that some time in the flight, when changing views (from wingview to a nearby Tower view), my FSX experiences Fatal Error and closes. It happened several times, mostly in the same situation. It is kinda irritating. Anyone experienced the same thing? Maybe someone can share the way to prevent this from occuring? Would be great :) Just for an info, I have used (and I still am) REX, ASE, FSUIPC, it was Austrian 737-800WL, flight from LOWW to LGKO, CTD occured over Hungarian airspace (near intersection SOGMO). Thanks!

  2. Hey PMDG! Just one little question: I have downloaded both Austrian and Austrian Star Alliance livery directly from website, however it seems that only Star Alliance livery is OK, while regular Austrian installs American Airlines one? Can you check it? Thanks! im Not Worthy.gif

  3. Man o man! stunning shots! :( ... simply sublime. :(
I'm officially blushing Big%20Grin.gif Thanks Ed!
Predrag, you tease! :( another lovely set... Man, I really need to get into this bird. Are you using russian navigation, too? I remember fiddling with RSBN and NAS-1 when flying with the Tu- 134... Fascinating stuff! Regards,Jure
Teaser is my middle name ;-) Thanks Jure! Yep, I am flying with NVU all the way, or should I say - russian way ;-) Also, I do the programing of KLN just to check the route, but I use NVU with RSBN corrections ;-)

  4. Wow! DC-9! Always had a soft spot in my heart for one of these birds! Not just due to the fact that it was the first aircraft I flew on, but due to it's amazing look and glorious sound of JT8Ds :-)Great shots Jure! :-)

  5. Thanks Jure :) Appreciated :-)I have to admit that, due to lack of time, I haven't flown much of the Tu previously. However, being addicted last week by one experienced Tu-154 simpilot, I had to return back to the bird, read the manual and voila ;-) It is pure pleasure, really Big%20Grin.gifNot to mention it looks amazing!

  6. Guys! Here comes, yet another, Tu-154M flight from Ekaterinburg (USSS) to Mineralnye Vody (URMM). This time I won't write much, I'll let you enjoy the screens while we wait for the new ones of Daniel Holm and other pilots Big%20Grin.gifBoarding completed, waiting for final paperwork and off to URMM :)Lining up runway 08LDosvidanya Ural! :)In climb :)Cruise flight ...Panel shot, dedicated to Ap0phis :)Visual approach to URMM, runway 12.Fully established.Taxiing to the gate with Tu tails behind :)Thanks for watching, comments are welcome :)

  7. Your shots are in a league of their own...care to explain the Vitamin setup with the PT package ?
Thanks a lot Big%20Grin.gif Basically the main thing is installing Vitamin Tu-154 like any other aircraft, directly to your Aircrafts folder, however what is another thing is just to paste PT Tu-154M panel folder (entire folder) directly to Vitamin's one. Remaining thing is adding contact points to Vitamin aircraft.cfg file and that is it. You are ready to fly :) Some other corrections are necessary, as Daniel said, however I can put it all together and just fwd it to you via PM :)
And i'm on a Malmö to Bourgas charter flight starting very soon. Pics are coming here too. No prizes for guessing airline and aircraft. :(
Wow! :) Looking forward to it :)

  8. Very nice! :( Thankyou for posting Predrag! B)
Thanks Ed! Big%20Grin.gif Eagerly waiting for IL-96 :(
Now you've done it. Installing the 154 now. Well done with the report btw. :(
Great news Daniel! Let us start with Tupolev frenzy! B) I don't know if you used it previously, but the visual model I'm using is much better, and is not the one that comes with PT Tu-154M package. Send me a pm, if you need a link :)

  9. Thanks JL ;-) Panel shot is obviously lacking again for one and one and only selfish reason which is - I didn't want it to be scrutinized with a attention-on-detail eyes of yours! :-) I am still not a captain instructor on Tupolev like you with an almost 100000 hours kn the type :-DAnyway, obviously, enough of my strange jokes, I forgot to add it and with 10 pics per topic and so much to show I guess I decided to stick with visuals only :-(More is coming that is sure :-)PS I've seen it today on russian forum :-(

  10. Ladies and gents! Time for another Russian adventure :) This time from Krasnodar Pashkovskaya (KRR/URKK) to Surgut (SGC/USRR), with UTAir Tupolev Tu-154M RA-85777. Hope you'll enjoy! Big%20Grin.gifFlight Number: UT 0436From: Krasnodar Pashkovskaya (KRR/URKK) GMT +0300To: Surgut (SGC/USRR) GMT +0500A/C: TU-154M RA-85777 (TU5) Aircraft owner: UTAir Aviation JSCPlanned TD: 1100 local Actual TD: 1127 localPlanned TA: 1650 local Actual TA: 1701 localBlock time: 03H50 Flight time: 03H34Distance: 2981 km (1610 Nm) Cruising altitude: 11100 meters (36400 ft)Average cruising speed: M0.82 (GS cca 508 KT)Passengers ADT: 96, CHD: 10, INF: 3, WCHR: 2After a good night out in Krasnodar, especially in a nice new restaurant in the city center, my crew had a good night rest and a pickup in front of our hotel, arranged for 09:00 am for a planned departure at 11:00 am. Arriving at the Flight Operations office at Krasnodar airport, we had our weather charts, load sheets, flight plan and other necessary information in order to prepare ourselves and the cabin crew for an upcoming flight. I was informed that RA-85777, aircraft in use today, had some malfunctions with KLN GPS, and with Krasnodar not being our operating base, we couldn't replace it, meaning we will have to use RSBN/NVU navigation all the way from Krasnodar to Surgut (old school Big%20Grin.gif). Our route will take us from Krasnodar, via NZ 3C departure, to Ust Labinsk, Tikhoretsk, Saratov, Ufa, Mikhaylovsk, Ekaterinburg, over the Urals, almost direct routing to Khanty Mansiysk which is also our TOD for arrival to Surgut runway 07, via KOVER 1G arrival (KOVE1G).Around 10:15 we went through airport security, had a mini van taking us to our aircraft parked on a hard stand 24 quite a long way from airport building.Preparing our flight, testing all the systems, passengers boarding, we had to wait for a thunderstorm to pass over Krasnodar so we can safely takeoff. Our airplane parked far away. Pushback completed, engines ready, cleared to taxi to runway 05R (quite far away, but still better then 23L Big%20Grin.gif)Approaching runway 05RTakeoff! Bye bye Krasnodar!Somewhere over Ufa, cruising at FL110.Approaching Surgut, landing gear down!Touchdown!Welcome to Surgut!"Дамы и господа, наш самолет только что приземлились в аэропорту Сургут. Мы просим вас оставаться на своих местах..." Thank you for flying with Utair :)Hope you enjoyed a little trip report Big%20Grin.gif

  11. Lovely shots...very well done.
    Hvala :)
Ah, darn it. Now i got that Tushka twinch again...... And it's not even installed. Seems like you did your job well Predrag! :(
See? I may have started Tupolev addiction here at the forums :) Thanks for the comment ;) Next on my "roster" is something in Far East from Vladivostok :)
I am currently working on an IL-96 panel. B) I would love to get back into the TU-154M but I am waiting on some Inspiring cockpit photos for her.Meantime please let us have some more Tushka screenshots. :(
Wow! Il-96! Perfect airplane! I don't know if VITAMINs Il-96 got released in the meantime? I saw that he is working on it over at Russian avsim forum, but haven't actually followed the progress B)
Awesome shots Predrag! Good to see you posting! :(
Hey Niklas! Thanks! :) In the next days, more will definitely follow :)

  12. Best shots here for a while in my opinion
    Amazing shots :)Stian
Thanks a lot guys! I am flattered :) Tupolev has a distinctive sound, beautiful looks and flies perfectly. Both IRL and in flight sim. One can never get bored with this bird :) You can most certainly expect some more shorts and new flights to come ;)
Stunning pictures! I just wish I knew how to fly the TU-154 and the TU-134! They seem to be difficult to fly Keep them russian scrennies coming ;)Regards
Key thing is reading the manual. I do understand it is hard at start for people who don't understand Russian, or can read Cyrillic but after some practice it most certainly pays off. So whenever you have any free time and will, take a look at the bird. It is absolutely perfect!
Wonderful shots Predrag! :( Unfortunately I have never flown on the TU-154M IRL but she sure is a looker and has a lovely sound. ...... although I spoke to someone who has today and he did not have good words to say about the experience for the passenger. Certainly the PT TU154 is one of the best experiences I have had in FS.
Thanks a lot Ed! I still remember some great videos you made with PT bird :) Actually, being from Serbia, and not Russia, I never had much opportunity to fly on Russian-made airplanes as no carrier here had them (beside Aviogenex in early 80s), however some traveling to Russia gave that opportunity and voila :) I had a chance to fly this lovely jet from SVO to LED, and it certainly is amazing, and much different compared to generally known "western" airliners. Aeroflot did a cabin refurbishment on these birds and they looked pretty much updated :)
Stunning Pic´s. This plane drove me crazy when I tried to use it I even failed with starting the engine. somewho bad If you don´t know what you´re clicking... :( Btw. I´ve corrected this for you.´B)
    Thanks a lot :)
Great pics! Love the Russians birds! great freeware models, but unfortunatly I dont know Russian, so I cant fly them :(
Thanks! As I told previously, if you have time and are willing, start with manuals. A bit hard at start, but as much as you get to know the bird, it gets better and better! Thanks for the comments :)
