  1. This is actually a known issue within FSX due to the way it implements pushback. The FSX Pushback model (which we use with some modification) will not start a turn until the aircraft has pushed back one full body length for the selected aircraft. On the 777 as you can imagine this can be a problem especially with the 300ER. Unfortunately it is usually easier to use a shorter pushback with a 45 degree turn to avoid ending up in the grass. The FSX pushback crew is very inconsiderate in this respect.

  2. Hello everyone !

     

    I have a problem regarding push back.

     

    In FMC push back function when I set an angle of 90° to go back out of the gate and to be aligned with taxiway, turn radius is very large. (even with the minimum path distance of 76m)

     

    Each time, I finish at the other side of the parking area or in the grass.... It looks like the steering gear can't rotate in its full angle range...

     

    To illustrate my words, there in Dubaï:

    There is widely enough space to maneuver and I finish in coconuts trees with FMC set to minimum distance of 76m and 90° left turn....

     

    I report it in an other forum and I'm not the only one to have this issue.

     

    It's same 777-200LR or 300ER since SP1.

  3. I think it's great that you guys enjoy for flying real time.

     

    For me however, I use time compression whenever I can. Why? With my time being quite limited these days, I feel the compression function allows me to enjoy the T7 while seeing new parts of the FSX world I've never considered. It's quite refreshing to start flying international routes in FSX without worrying which of my few days off I have to give up for it. I'm considering WSSS to KEWR as well as VHHX to KEWR. Neither would have (or is) a consideration without the T7.

     

    I'm glad we all get to enjoy the plane in our own ways. For me, time compression (built in) has to be one of the most useful and innovative things I've experienced in an addon aircraft.

    I totally agree ! A revolution for me, it allow to open the whole FS world to me.
