  1. Dear All,I am considering moving to a Mac(iMac) as I feel good about Safari Browser, Itunes, Iphones, Documents, mail, etc.The only thing I am not sure is how my Flight Sim 2004 and FX will be? They are saying I can partition part of my harddrive for windows, thus it would be like running on a normal PC. they say!Do any of you have experience FLying with a Mac? Performance? Problems? Concerns?I appreciate any feedback you would have!ThanksDennis

  2. Dear Bryan,Wonder if this is a FS2crew thing? Not sure? but let you know if you have experienced this!PMDG MD11F, when parking is on at beginning of pre flight, the RED banner on bottom left hand of the screen which indicates parking breaks set does NOT appear. (only when using MD11F). I use FS2crew and the procedures for preflight indicate certain times parking brakes should not be on. Now the panel shows brakes are on, but the RED banner does not appear, and GCP(this is the FSCars system I use for my virtual airline) does not recognize it is on thus, I cannot load my flight. Then after push back and about to start my engines, the RED banner now appears and thus I can load GCP!Only happens for PMDGMD11, all other aircraft no problem.Any thoughts!

  3. Dear Bryan,I researched the PMDG site, and I was correct what I heard. The procedure is recommended to install PMDG products in the following order. 737 before 747. They say that when installing 747 a DLL file will be overwritten, thus the recommendation. This problem will cause your 737 PMDG to CTD and other. They say however, if you download new active files these have corrected the problem, only old files are the concern. I have to consider purchasing the product again, maybe. Thanks!Dennis

  4. THanks Bryan and Kimo for your replies and comments.I undersand. I have the 737-600/700 on CD as I purchased it, and the 800/900 by download. The computer I will use never had 737PMDG before. So I hope this is a fresh start. The reason I concerned is that a couple years back, somewhere it was recommened(Ithink by PMDG) to install their products in the order I told you. 737 first, the the other PMDG. Why not tech sure!. But if you say I do NOT need to uninstall my 747 and MD11, it will be great! I will try to research more and let you know what I find!ThanksDennis

  5. Dear Bryan,I am having a good time with my FScrew PIC737 and would defiinitely want to pursue the PMDG 737 as well, but I have to dread the fact about reinstalling my pMDG 737I recall that the proper installation for PMDG is 737-600/700,FIRST then PMDG 737-800/900, THEN PMDG 747 and MD11. I already have 747 and MD11 installed with addons already. I do dread un installing and reinstalling again. :( I know this is mostly a PMDG question, but do you recall this procedure and is it accurate. If so, It does require alot of work before I can work with the FS2crew PMDG737.Your thoughts!Dennis

  6. Seems to be working good for me now too. Maybe it was a speech recognition issue and it just had to hear it a few times.I just did a flight and repeated "Set seatbelts on" then "Set seatbelts off" over and over and it worked perfect with the mini panel and everything. I must have done it twenty times with no problems. That's got everything working perfect!Thank you,Bob
Dear Bryan and all,Your product has made me come back and fly he PIC737 again. It was in the storage, but brought it out after seeing your product. I enjoy it alot!. It is fun, challenging too. I have flown three flights and getting better, and it still exciting. It makes the flying experience more enjoyable. Wonder if anything can be done to enhance it between after takeoff checks and before descent. Not sure what, but do real pilots do something routine?Yes, I do have the same situation mentioned about seatbelts off and on. On works, off works for voice recognition, but does not do the function. I saw the fix for version 1.1 on another post. I will download and advise. Now I hope more exciting challenging planes can be given voice command! PMDG, other Wilco?Anyway, great job, and oh yes, support is great too. Speedy and effective!Dennis :( :(

  7. Dear Bryan,First let me say, I am very pleased thus far with the PIC737 Fs2Crew product. It really does make if feel real. Thus, far, (aside from learning curve, which is exciting too), all is working well. One thing though, I do not see a Green Display Bar that the instruction is indicating. The bar that tells you what words the speech system is recognizing. I do have the DSP on the main panel to ON, but where does the bar appear? The system is recognizing my voice 90% of the time.ThanksDennis
