I've been trying for some time now to make a good merge of the Thomas Ruth A330's VC and the new gauge version of vasfmc in FSX, but I haven't been able to put the MCDU on its proper position, and have not had much sucess with the FCU as well. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I know a very cool one! its SBRJ, Santos Dumont Airport, in RIo de Janeiro, Brazil. It has a very short runway for the 737`s and some nasty terrain around it. I remember reading a post from Ryan a few months ago in which he said something about ORBX (he was actually answering a question from another forum user) and he mentioned that he could get any satellite image the ORBX guys asked him for (I'm sorry if I'm mistaken). In case I do remembe it correctly, could I ask you how do you do it Ryan? Because I'm starting a new scenery project, SBRJ, and I wondered where to get images better than Google Maps. Hey, I was looking for a B-2 Spirit to fly the other day, and I noticed that there are none! I think this could b a good project for PMDG to take, because a lot of people like this specific airplane and it's a big hole in the sky - no one has done even with a VC. I do understand that it is very difficult to do it without all the classified information, but is there any chance? Or is it against PMDG policy to do military airplanes like the B-2? The system is very similar to the one I just built and you will be very happy with it. One suggestion I might add is another hard drive just for FS. I use an SSD, but maybe a 10,000 rpm veliciraptor. It wont increase FPS but it greatly helps with blurry ground textures and load times.

Thanks for the reply Jason. I don't know all the systems for sure, but they are much older than anyone else's pc here. I have a Intel Core 2 Duo, with a 7200 Nvidia card (I think, can't check though because I am traveling) and can't remember the other things. Anyways, it is 3 years old, so I guess it is too old.Eduardo Rubini

But I mean, if the NGX is more optimized for performance than the Queen, shouldn't it run better than the 747 in all PCs?

Why do some people are experiencing better frame rates with the NGX and some much worse ones than with the Queen? Is it already known?

I was thinking about something: in the real photo of the plane (as shown a few posts above), the parking brake light is reflected on the throttles. Is it present in the NGX too?Eduardo Rubini

Hi! I'm new to the forum and I'm having exas in school, so I'm not really having a lot of time to check all the threads for an answer to my question. So I'm sorry if this has already been questioned, and I totally understand if you do not feel like answering because it has already been asked, but I was wondering: will it be possible to do belly landings with the NGX? It's not a child thing, just to understand if I will be able to simulate this kind of emergency.Also I agree that you should take your time to finish the project.
