  1. Get a 700 series card one that does not run to hot. I am running a NVidia 670 3GB  and let me tell you running Prepar3D 2.0 at mid to high settings on the sliders the card is running at 95 to 100 % of total power. So watch your temp with the card running so hot. You have to run the fan at least at 70% to keep the card from over heating. I was correct in getting the 3GB card but I should have gotten a better card.

    Well next year.

  2. I have a unique problem. I have created a flight from HSOB to FEFF in Africa When I start with the 600 model I have no mouse function for any PMDG function like the lights, FMC, Flaps, Brake or other functions. IF I change to the 700 model it works without any problems. if I change to a another airport Europe or North America the 600 also works but not at HSOB or other close airports in Africa?

    Any Thoughts?

  3. Craig,Try installing the Visual C++ runtime manually - SP1b used the older 2008 version but we upgraded to VS2010 while SP1c was being built. Perhaps the installer's not installing it correctly or something.http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=8328
Thanks Ryan, that did the trick it did require C++ VS2010 which Windows update downloaded for me and it works now.Thank again and thanks for the tutorial it is the best because of your hard work.Craig

  4. I do not know why all your values are the way they are? If you click on each selection and then hit the triangle you are able to change to the correct vallue as in my profile. You will have to do this for each setting. After that Apply changes otherwise you will be back where you started.

  5. Thanks Craig but I have tried this method and its laggy without external limiter not sure why hmm ? thanks
Also make sure when you use Nvidia Inspector to change the following:Under AntialasingAntialasing Behavor Flags NoneAntialasing Mode Override any application settingAntialasing Setting 8xS Combined 1x2 SS+ 4x MSUnder Texture FilteringAnisotropic filtering mode User defined / OffAnisotropic filtering setting 16xTexture filtering -Negative LOD bias ClampTexture filtering - Quality High qualityCommonPower management mode Prefer maximum performanceFrame Rate Limiter 30The rest are all @ defaultNow make sure you Apply changes top right corner in Inspector

  6. Thanks Craig but I have tried this method and its laggy without external limiter not sure why hmm ? thanks
Richard try to uninstall all your Nvidia drivers exept the Video Driver and Update if you are not using the video and 3D function on your Nvidia Graphics Card. It should help in your frame rate by 3-5 fps. Also fixed my video problem using Skype by installing their 5.7 Beta Driver.

  8. I hade the same problem. What I did is uninstall all the NVidia options 3D Vision Controller Driver, 3DVision Driver, Hd Audio Driver, Nvidia Update and PhysX System Software just leaving the Graphics Driver. My frames moved up by 5 fps. I also noticed that using EVGA Precision that my GPU usage % went down to 50% from 100% when flying over Seattle. Hope this helps

  9. All I can say is it is the best aircraft period. PMDG you have done it again. I have flown in a real 737 simulator and this PMDGNGX is the closest to the real thing. In my first flight EGKK-London Gatwick, England to EHAM Amsterdam Schiphol, The Netherlands I followed your guideline on tweak adjustments including NVidia Inspector configuration guide. I was used Active Sky Evolution Weather, FSX Google Evolution, Rex Real Environment and Ultimate Terrain Europe. Screen Resolution @ 1920x1200x32FSX Setting all maxed out except Traffic @ 20%I was getting 30 fps most of the time dropping to 20 @ Schiphol and Gatwick. Small correction on your TUTORIAL #1 We now need to make a few slight modifications to the route beforewe activate it.Press the DEL (delete) key at the bottom of the CDU and thenpress LSK 6R to remove the speed and altitude restriction atREDFA. Make sure you enter the delete on the right side of theCDU and not the left. Doing it on the left side will remove theentire waypoint! It should read “press LSK 5R to remove the speed and altitude restriction at REDFA”LSK 6R is to ACTIVATE but not the REDFA restriction line.
