Normally I fly at x8-x16, but in this case I can probably live with x4 (as this is a regional plane with shorter routes)- looks like I'm buying, wee-hee!

With the Dash-7 out, would someone help me out, and check how stable the autopilot is under x8 sim rate (time acceleration)?

Under the 737, PMDG heavily limits the max bank, pitch, yaw angles, and throttle changes, so the autopilot remains stable, and won't start a deadly oscillation, or dive to the ground. Other planes are a mixed bag.

To me, time acceleration is a must (naysayers, please don't comment how it's not realistic, once you have a family and very limited free time, but still want to fly, you'll understand - It's also not realistic that I fly a 737 without a real-world ATP license, this is why it's called a SIMULATOR, so we SIMULATE stuff we cannot do IRL).

I would only buy the plane, if it's (relatively) stable under these accelerations, if a happy owner could have a quick look and test it mid-flight, I'd appreciate it a lot. If it slowly deviates from the course, that's fine, I can slow the time down, steer it back, and speed up again. As long as it's stable, I'm fine.

So ORBX TE SoCal is finally out! And it's awesome, I highly recommend it! 🙂
It also meant that finally I was able to adjust my ortho coloring to blend with theirs. I know it won't be perfect, because we used a different imagery source (which meant that due to seasonal variations both the foliage and the ground had different shades as well, so simple brightness/contrast adjustment is not enough) but I hoped to get close. And I'm happy to say that the result is quite good! The transition will almost be quite fluid if viewed from the cockpit, and won't break any continuity, so you will be able to enjoy both products seamlessly!

I think you'll love this, and hopefully this one will be your second home base. It even has a hangar, where you can fit your own poster (replacing the flag) 🙂

Some of you might have seen some development shots for my KRAL Riverside scenery for X-plane around the internet. The addon is development since late 2017, and I want to make it one of the coolest payware airports out there. Compared to my previous KHAF, I've upped graphical fidelity to be on par with the todays' leading addons, and I've introduced a very work-intensive 3D feel grass, and expert color matching as well. However, there is more than that - the airport will introduce many cool features, like a live airport, where the amount of parked cars and people are based on the time of day, animated birds, customizable hangar, and my most recent, and biggest announcement yet to date - ONE of the surprise features and the title of this post: a complete rendition of a virtual Riverside Airshow! As far as I nowl, this is the first time that a payware airport addon would deliver a fully developed airshow to any home simulator! With over 1100 individual 3D figures, 25+ interesting aircraft, dozens of exhibitors, an animated Helldiver simulator, and an overflying drone, this is a certain treat! The Airshow model is built into the airport, you'll have to set X-plane's date to July 11, to activate it - on any other day, your airport will look 'normal'. The airport itself is not completely done yet, this is my first post regarding KRAL here an Avsim, but there will be more, and of course, everyone will be notified about the release as well. Let me share some shots here, both with and without the airshow, please enjoy! 🙂

Yes, Reshade is almost essential. Just as XVision. Xplane by default is desaturated, foggy and depressing - I don't know who made it that way.
