Same issue, all black gauges and cannot press any buttons in cockpit, move throttle, etc. No activation window. On Windows 8.1 x64. P3D is outside of Program Files directory. Opened a ticked with PMDG, will see what they say.

Hijacking a thread, that's just lame..
How is this hijacking? The post is about an EFB for iPad for the 777. I am simply showing you what is available on the market, showing what is available for consumers. Just suggestions to other virtual pilots.

Hello!
We at FlightSim Solutions have just published our first application, 777 EFB, the world's most advanced EFB on iPad for flight sim enthusiasts.
You can check out our website at http://flightsimsolutions.ca for more information since I cannot post advertising here on the forums.
It includes a world traffic map with ATC (from VATSIM) using Navigraph data for routes drawn on the map, interactive non-normal procedures/checklists, and much more!
The app is truly revolutionary and is something that each 777 virtual pilot should have with them while flying!
Best regards,
Michael Shamash

Thanks, Hook, this fixed the issue. It looks like my left/right toe on rudder pedals were assigned to the ailerons some how and changing that fixed the issue!

I am seeing that this issue only occurs when i have my yoke/thr. quad. plugged in, even though I'm not touching it, it'll bank left on the controls... Ghost signals from controller?

Hi all,
After flying around with the 777-300, 777-200, and SP1 for a few days now, I am noticing that while I am still manually controlling the plane, if my physical controls are all in the neutral position (Saitek Pro Flight Yoke + Pro flight rudder pedals), the yoke in FSX will suddenly turn left completely. This causes the left aileron to come up and right aileron to go down, turning my plane to the left until i move my physical controls to set them aligned again.
I don't use FSUIPC for controls, I just have it installed so that other software can connect into FSX.
The only addons I have are Active Sky Next, and I occasionally run UT2, though I just installed that and I had this issue without UT2 installed as well.
Please let me know how I can fix this issue or if you're experiencing the same thing.
Thanks!

After observing the effects of the errors in greater detail, I see that while this error pops up, I can click the main P3D sim windows to 'hide' it behind P3D and continue flying...but the sim stops loading textures. The only textures it loads are runways, taxiways, and a few buildings but no scenery, no grass, nothing.
This has lead me to believe that the bug is related to the graphics card compatibility or to something GFX-card related. I use default scenery, no add-ons, etc.
-
What hardware are you running it on? I am also getting this error and considering a refund but if we both have the same CPU, or GFX card, maybe there's hope there?
Mike
EDIT: I see we both have NVidia graphics cards, I have the EVGA GTX 760 and you have the GTX 650. Maybe it is an nvidia compatibility issue with P3D?

And....it's back. Got a R6025 error tonight flying around Anchorage. No idea what most of this gobbledegook below means..

On the verge of getting a refund now.
Mind me asking what your setup is? I have an NVIDIA EVGA GTX 760 4gb; Intel i5 CPU (4th gen) and 8GB DDR3 system RAM.
Motherboard: Z87N by Gigabyte.
Anything in common? Maybe it's a hardware issue LM needs to fix.

Adam- that's great! I'll try out that other weather system tomorrow.
As for tessellation whether the box is checked or unchecked, it still crashes

Hi Mike
Not sure yet. I'd already uninstalled ASN to run some tests in P3D to see whether the error occured without ASN installed. So far so good. Am going to reinstall it again tonight - hopefully there is an option NOT to install the X GAUGE - can't remember at the moment!
If you still have ASN installed it may be worth checking the options tab in ASN to see if you can remove the gauge from there?
Adam
Hey Adam,
I can confirm that there *is* an uninstall option for the XGUAGE in the latest beta version of ASN for P3D from their site.
You go to Tools -> XGUAGE Installation Wizard, and follow the instructions with all aircraft selected, then click the UNINSTALL/REMOVE option not the install/repair option.
I am still going to test to see if this is the problem, but hopefully this was it and no more errors!
Mike
EDIT: This is not the problem it looks like, since I just got a crash with that same error on takeoff roll.

Guys I also started a thread about this error here:
http://forum.avsim.net/topic/444699-anyone-else-getting-the-dreaded-r6025-windows-error-message/
F++ replied on the thread and suggested I take a look at another thread where the ASN X-GAUGE was responsible for causing the R6025 error in FSX. See last post here:
http://forum.avsim.net/topic/444989-windows-7-pro-64-default-beep-on-shutdown/
The last post from flying engineer could be the solution. I'm going to reinstall ASN tonight but without the X GAUGE option and shall report back.
Please update this thread with your findings as well?
Adam
Hi Adam,
Thanks for the suggestions. How can I uninstall X GUAGE from ASN/P3d? Do I need to reinstall ASN completely?

UPDATE: Disabling the RAAS pro that comes with the AXE seemed to have fixed the problem when any aircraft crashes into an object and I now get the error message only during flight at random times. Thankfully now I can hide it and continue flying!
Hopefully this bug is fixed very soon!
-
I also posted another thread re this problem. I get it when the airplane crashes into an object, or just like 10min into the climb to cruise. Very annoying!
I have the MJC DH8D installed and I use Active Sky Next for weather.
I also have UT2 installed, but disabled until I fly online.
-
So the past few days I've seen it's not only when the A/C crashes, but mid-flight as well!
This is very frustrating- how can I fly if I get this error while climbing to cruise?!
Anyone have any ideas as to what's up with this error?
My realism settings are set on high for my graphics card and this happens with lower settings as well.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks.
Where did you hear that?
Just wondering why did you not mention it days earlier if you knew something special?

Mike 179, Are you back now from your week off?
I actually just found out yesterday that it was a 'private' ILS from a friend.
I am still out of the house due to renovations, I plan to test the A320 with auto land on the ILS 06L at CYYZ and see if it is on the rwy. or on the green grass.
I did however, install the nav. updated from that link in an earlier post although it didn't recognize my P3D v2, it said it was v1, and it worked only while the Migration Tool was on virtual FSX mode. (probably since I have FSX + P3D installed). It was this one to install, right? http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.html

Thanks! But I heard that this is 'top secret' and is given out only to Porter pilots and military...as long as you're allowed to share :)
-
Kinda off topic...but still with the idea of LOC and ILS: while landing, if I want to take over the vertical portion of flight but have the A/P still control my lateral navigation on the LOC, is it possible? I know I could select NAV which would only fly the LOC part of the ILS but then I have to either use V/S mode or it will maintain pitch, I cannot override.
I guess I'm asking for the two main aircraft I fly, the Majestic Q400 and the Airbus Extended A320/321.
As for the CYTZ ILS 26...I will be checking it out within the coming days to see how it works, but the default scenery doesn't seem to have it. I'll also try to update the P3D nav data.
Thanks

Hey Thanks for making this tutorial!
I am wondering if I need a valid license to try out EZdok 1.17 since it is still in beta.
I have not yet purchased EZdok and would like to see it working in my sim first, with a file from frooglesim to see how it is.
Thanks
Mike

Let us know what you think and if it has coverage (e.g. ILS Navaids) for your airports and did it fix specific problems ... like in this AVSIM topic?
I will, although I'm away from my Flight Sim PC for about a week currently, but when I get back the first thing I will do is install this, and it's free!
Right. Now for the missing chart / procedure for the offset LOC at CYTZ?
This is the closest I could find to what I found in the CYTZ airport file in P3D, even though this doesn't show it's a localizer. http://imgur.com/2sJl7dr
These are the other charts Navigraph has for CYTZ, but only 1 LOC (really 2 since with the same freq. as 08 is the b/c for 28 as a LOC without G/S). http://imgur.com/AA2QmRX
Something I noticed in the Airport Editor tool was that the LOC for circling was the same freq. as 08 LOC, thus prompting me to think it was for 26 and they messed up somewhere?
This link has the information and a couple pictures of the approach and the LOC approach chart.

I didn't even know this approach existed, amazing! I think they could have removed it since this incident, maybe too risky or expensive.

Toronto FIR charts, 29MAY2014
Good to know someone is using the charts I put up for the Virtual FIR! :)
Updated navaids, fixes, and magnetic variation, from Herve Sors. Link: http://www.aero.sors.fr/
About CYTZ; With it being such a small, privately owned/operated airport, with a limited number of aircraft movements permitted, having a localizer for rw33 probably isn't economically viable. IMO.
cheers, Jazz.
I'll definitely check that out, looks very interesting.
-
I fixed the localizers at CYYZ, about 3 of them were off. Maybe even 4. I exported it using the LM SDK for P3D but now how can I use this scenery for CYYz a instead of the default? Do I just put it in the scenery folder?
Thanks! Mike
I noticed that at CYTZ the localizer for 33 was completely misaligned! It didn't even line up with any runways, not even close! But I left it since I don't use that airport often. LM should really work on these little bugs so we can all have a seamless flying experience.
-
I checked the stock CYYZ in ADE and the ILS for 06L is miss-aligned so you will need to fix that but CYTZ is working as intended with a 3 degree offset.
I see, it didn't make sense to land that far off the runway. How can I fix this? I've never used 'ADE' before.
Is it the Airport Design Editor?
